• Champion Manju Wanniarachchi tests positive for nandrolone• Wales' McGoldrick lost to Sri Lankan on countback in DelhiNewport's Sean McGoldrick could be in line for a belated upgrade to a Commonwealth Games gold medal after the bantamweight champion Manju Wanniarachchi failed a drug test.McGoldrick, 18, suffered a narrow countback defeat to Wanniarachchi in the final in Delhi but the Sri Lankan now faces being stripped of his medal.Wanniarachchi, who returned home a national hero after becoming Sri Lanka's first boxing gold medallist in 72 years, has tested positive for nandrolone. He has 14 days in which to request a test of the 'B' sample.Reports in Sri Lanka say Delhi officials have already informed the Sri Lankan Olympic Committee of the findings. Wanniarachchi this week pulled out of next month's Asian Games, citing injury.After his defeat in Delhi, McGoldrick, who performed above expectations to reach the final, said: "I'm a little disappointed. I was one point away from gold but I tried my best and I'm over the moon with silver."Today his coach, Tony Williams, said: "I thought Sean had done enough to win the gold medal on the day.
