Johnson said the five-year-old had been bought out of David Evans's yard with the aim of winning the Brighton Mile, in which he was beaten by a short-head last August."He was finishing like a train [that day] after losing two shoes," the trainer said. "We knew we had a fair tool on our hands. He'll come back here for the final of this series on Winter Derby day and we'll enter him for the Lincoln, although he might not get in.
