• PCB confirms accused trio have exercised right to a hearing• Wahab Riaz to be questioned by police over scandal tomorrowThe International Cricket Council will convene a preliminary hearing into the allegations of spot-fixing surrounding three Pakistan players in 40 days' time, the legal adviser to the country's cricket board has confirmed.Tafazzul Rizvi said Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir have exercised their right to a hearing against their suspension over the scandal and filed their subsequent responses. They were suspended on 4 September by the ICC after being accused in the News of the World of agreeing to throw no-balls during the fourth Test against England at Lord's for financial gain.Meanwhile, the Pakistan team manager, Yawar Saeed, said police have delayed until tomorrow their questioning of a fourth player, Wahab Riaz, over the scandal. Riaz was originally summoned by Scotland Yard to appear for questioning today."Wahab will be going on Wednesday as there was some prior commitment he had to deal with first," said Saeed.The 25-year-old left-armer claimed five wickets on his debut in the third Test against England and was a member of Pakistan's squad for the five-match one-day series.Police in London have already interviewed Butt, the Test captain, and pace bowlers Amir and Asif.
