Correction: Arkansas-McDonnell story
In an April 21 story about the retirement of University of Arkansas men's track and field coach John McDonnell, The Associated Press, relying on information from the university, erroneously reported that McDonnell has won more national championships than any other collegiate coach in any sport, and that McDonnell's 12 consecutive NCAA indoor track championships made up the longest streak of national college titles in any sport.
