The team of William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Nicola Wilson and Tina Cook took gold in emphatic fashion at the World Equestrian Games.Fox-Pitt also won silver behind Germany's Michael Jung in the individual competition, taking Britain's medal haul to five following three silvers in the dressage.The eventers' latest success follows the European title they won in France last year and provides them with an ideal footing for a concerted medal challenge at the London 2012 Olympics.The team event saw Britain finish on a score of 139.40 after King (Imperial Cavalier) and Wilson (Opposition Buzz) joined Fox-Pitt (Cool Mountain) in going clear, which meant that Cook's eight faults on Miners Frolic could be discounted.Great Britain's chef d'equipe and performance manager, Yogi Breisner, paid tribute to the riders and their horses. "With the exception of Tina's hiccup, it has been just about the perfect week," he said."It was incredible and very rare for the three counting riders of the team to finish on their dressage scores.
